Letter 2

Dear Ken,

I would be more than happy to write you a letter of recommendation.  So to all those who may read this, here is my story.

My husband and I were divorcing, so we needed to sell our home in the Angelino Heights area of Los Angeles, California. We were having major difficulties agreeing on an agent to sell our home as well as the price we should sell it for.  I knew Ken Stickney from before I was married from a time when we worked together. I knew he was honest in business and he would look out for both of our interests.

Ken Stickney and other agents made presentations to each of us, after which we (actually!) agreed to use his services for the sale. Ken spent a lot of time explaining to my ex-husband what was happening in our market. He studied all the nearby sales and walked us through his recommendations for pricing.  As if working with divorcing owners with two small kids was not enough, our home was over 100 years old with a broken foundation.  Ken explained the challenges we were facing to sell our home with this compromised structure. Nonetheless, we sold the home within a couple weeks with multiple offers at a good price.  Ken made the extra effort to meet with my husband to have documents signed in a timely manner and help the escrow move along.  I look forward to working with Ken when I am ready to purchase my next home.
